The Goals and Methods of Shaolin Training
The aim of our
teaching methods of Ch'an Shaolim-Si Tao is the training of intuition and the rediscovery of our instincts,
which we regard as the original abilities of every human being, the use of which is of some
value.
The ancient Shaolin monks developed an iron will,
which even today can enable us to achieve extraordinary feats...
and shows us "a way" to develop our inner power potential ( Chinese: té
).
#
Our training includes the practice of Shaolin breath training and the energy work of Shaolin
(called Chi-Kung, aka QiGong).
Concentration and meditation techniques are also part of our
teaching,
as are the movement teachings in the practice of traditional fighting techniques.
In combination, this training ensures a holistic development of
body, mind and psychological strength.
The knowledge that
we acquire on this path is for ourselves
and not something external, which is fixed on certificates, diplomas and master degrees.
*
In Tao Alchemy it is therefore said :
"There is a great
difference between the artificially fabricated knowledge
and the real knowledge of those who are on the Way...."
and further:
" When we let go, our body is relaxed all by itself,
and if we
don't invent anything artificial..,
then our mind naturally comes into a peaceful state."
